Information and translation project of the novel "Tsubasa yo, are ga tamashii no akari da"

The popularity of the Chrno Crusade manga gave birth to the creation of a novel, titled  "Tsubasa yo, are ga tamashii no akari da" ("Wings, they are the light of the soul") written by Tominaga Hiroshi and illustrated by Miyazawa Hiroshi, which was published in April 20, 2004. The book is pretty long (about 290 pages), but the story certainly looks very promising.  ^_^

The novel is being translated by Kuroe and I will post each new translated chapter as soon as it's available. This is the text of the back cover:

"If something happens to me, I will..."  said Chrno to Rosette, who was the only one facing the battle in the sky.

It all started in a suburb of NY with a murder investigation. The victim had no traces of physical injuries and his face was contorted with fear. Treated as a case involving demons, the exorcists Sister Rosette and her sidekick Chrno, the demon, began their investigation.

Following their leads, the pair hear of rumours while on board a postal service plane on their way to Saint Louis. The rumours go that "something strange is happening in the skies". Rumours of a murder. On the face of it, these two incidents are unrelated, but when they see the truth, Rosette and Chrno are placed in more danger than they've ever been in before!

The rampaging Sister and the kind demon, in a new story!! The popular comic finally makes its debut in a novel!
