July 21, 2005: So yeah... Volume 6, Chapter 4  is up for your reading enjoyment! ^_^

July 12, 2005: Updated the Sounds page... corrected the links to the first 2 tracks of CD II - Eien no Jikan, and added the first track of CD III - Hajimari no Jikan. A must hear!! ^_^ BTW, Volume 6 chapter 4 will be ready in a few days more... so check back often.

June 19, 2005: Sorry for the slow updates... been horribly busy. First of all, good news for all Australian Chrno Crusade Fans! The Chrno Crusade manga is going to be LICENSED, with its original title (no extra "O" in Chrno's name) by Madman Entertainment! You can read the official press release here. I must add that I'm very curious to read it... I think it could be better than ADV's version... The fact that they left the ORIGINAL title as it is gets my hopes up pretty high. ^_^ On another note, I added some awesome Cosplay pictures (thanks to jakotsuaniki, SaturnAlice and Ricki Le Cotey who contributed them), a new Merchandise pictures section and a few new Fanarts (I will add more soon).

May 31, 2005: At long last.... Volume 6, Chapter 3 is ready for your reading pleasure! However, I have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER when the next chapter is going to be ready, since I don't have the translation for it, and the translator is currently busy with school and other things. So do not, I repeat, DO NOT ask me when it's going to be ready. It will be ready when it's ready, that's all I can say. Anyway, enjoy!! ^_^

May 11, 2005: First of all, I want to thank all of the wonderful people that have e-mailed me offering their support and understanding regarding the web thieves that have been shamelessly stealing my images and bandwith from my site. I'm sorry for not being able to answer every mail, but your support does help me a lot. ^_^ So THANK YOU! Also, I want to assure everyone that I definitely do NOT plan to take my site down in the immediate future. Long live Chrno Crusade! ^_^ Anyway, I added a few beautiful Avatars by MellowyelloW2007, some lovely Fanarts (more to come soon) and *shameless plug* I also posted a new chapter of my fanfic Tears of Innocence! April 24, 2005: It is with deep regret that I inform you that some shameless, utterly pathetic WEB THIEF stole several images and text from my site to post it on his (or hers). I am VERY enraged by this. I don't know if you're informed about this, but it took me SEVERAL FRICKIN' WEEKS to create this site. All the text in this site (including, of course, the character profiles) was written by none other by ME (unless otherwise noted), and to see it displayed in another's little site without my previous consent, makes me want to take down this entire site for good. Take a look at this: http://www.freewebs.com/chrono_ishida/index.htm  Absolutely shameful.  >_< Same goes to all the BANDWITH STEALERS THAT HAVE DIRECTLY-LINKED TO THE AVATARS ON THIS PAGE. April 20, 2005: Sorry for the long absence, folks! I was away from the internet due to some personal reasons (having to do with the death of JPII) but now that a new pope is in town, then I have no excuses for being lazy anymore... expect plenty of updates in the near days! Oh, by the way, Volume 6 chapter 2 will be ready in a few more days... by Monday at the latest. ^_^

March 27, 2005: Happy Resurrection Sunday everyone! ^_^ I updated the Information section with a new Interview with Moriyama-sensei, a must read! Oh, and I also added the opening and closing songs of the Anime in the Sounds page, for your listening enjoyment.

March 20, 2005: Sorry for the lack of updates before... my job, my friends and my family (in that order) has kept me extremely busy... but anyway, to make up for the lack of updates, I proudly present to you Volume 6, Chapter 1! Woo-hoo! Guys, prepare to meet the lovely Magdalene... and girls prepare to see a really smexy adult Chrno! This is one of my favorite chapters in the entire manga, though there are many more that I like even better. Oh, I also updated the Links section with some very interesting pages (check out the new Rosette fanlisting!), and a banner to link back to me. What else? Oh yeah, I added a few more Icons and posted a new chapter of Tears of Innocence. Not only that, but I also posted the first chapter of an original fiction called The Telestial Chronicles. Please read and review! ^_^ And there's more... I also uploaded some Cosplay pictures for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy, and see you next update!

February 27, 2005: The time has FINALLY come for me to announce the winner of the CC Fanfiction contest. ^_^ I'm aware I should have made the announcement more than a month ago, but several things happened that didn't allow me to do so. So, without further ado, here are the first, second and third places, according to the judges (Kuroe, Nightelfcrawler, Pepperoonie and Me):

Third place:  A tie-in between Tangles by Maiden of the Moon and The Covenant by ChibiSamiSala.

Second place: Made to Last by Alea Seikou

And last, but definitely NOT least, the absolute winner: Destruction by Lessa and Ryn. ^_^ Here are some of the comments of the judges about this excellent one-shot:

-Oh they captured the personalities of Sister Kate and Rosette perfectly with just the right amount of humor. The dialogue flows smoothly with the text, and fits right in. I just can’t find anything I DON’T like about this fic. Wow. ^_^ (Nightelfcrawler)

-Wonderfully well-paced and in tune with the original work, without being limited on originality and imagination. (Kuroe)

February 24, 2005: Sooo... what now? Ah yes!! Volume 5 chapter 7 is finally ready!! Rejoice! ^_^ Also, Tears of Innocence chapter 6 is finally updated with a new chapter! What else? Oh yeah... Volume 6, chapter 1 will be ready on March 12. Why that date? I dunno... but that's it. Enjoy!!

February 13, 2005: Yet more Icons and a new image in the Artwork section. So cute, take a look at it! ^_^ Oh, and I finally uploaded the second CD Drama Eien no Jikan to the Sounds page, along with one of the songs from the Anime. Please listen to it, and tell me what you think on the Guestbook! *big toothy grin*

February 07, 2005: More Icons in the Images section (including some AIM avatars), a new Wallpaper, and more Fanfictions such as Careful, Random Drabbles & Adventures and If it was you, that'd be fine!. I will add more when I have more time... oh, and added some absolutely awesome Fanarts... go check them out! Oh, and for those of you waiting for Volume 5 Chapter 7, it will be ready on February 24 (A.K.A my birthday! ^_~). So please be patient!

January 24 2005: The waiting is over... after nearly 2 months of expectation, the Astral Scanslation Team proudly presents *drumroll* Volume 5, chapter 6!!! So, what are you waiting for?! Go download it now!! ^_^

January 19, 2005: Added more images of volume 8 to the Manga scans section. Some of the images shown here (the yellowish ones) only appeared in the original Dragon Age Magazine. You won't find them elsewhere but here. That being said, enjoy! Oh and I added more great Fanarts to the Images section. Be sure to check them out! Last but definitely not least, I added a truly great Fanfiction called Talk in Tongues, which I think everybody should read... will add more in the future! See ya! *falls asleep on her computer*

January 09, 2005: Added My first impression of the Chrno Crusade manga and My first impression of the Chrno Crusade anime (written by Peeperoonie) to the Humor section, and added a few Fanlistings to the Links page. Oh, and (shameless plug) chapter 4 of my fanfic Tears of Innocence is finally finished! Please review! *sweatdrop*

January 05, 2005: HAPPY (BELATED) NEW YEAR!!! May God bless you all in this new year with lots of love and manga crazyness!! ^_^ I honestly wanted to update this site before, but my lazyness got the better of me... but not anymore! One of my many purposes for this year is to update my site with more interesting things... hope I can make it! Anyway, as a late Christmas gift, the Sounds page is finally updated with the first CD Drama "Hajimari no Keiyakusha" for you to download! What better gift than to listen to adult Chrno's sexy voice? ^_~

December 28, 2004: Joy to the world... after a long absence the Forum is finally back, so don't lose a moment and drop by to say hello! ^_^ Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas... I know I did!! Very little presents though... *sniff* Anyway, who needs gifts when I have so many wonderful visitors to this humble site? ^_~

December 19, 2004: As you know, the Fanfiction Contest has ended. I will announce the results on January 1, 2005. ^_^ Thanks to everybody that participated!! The stories are great!! I updated the Fanfiction section with several great new fics, such as  Destruction, Xenogeneic, Made to Last and The Truth in the Gift among others. Please take a look at them and don't forget to tell the authors what you think! ^_^

December 12, 2004: Ah, December 12. The day we Mexican Catholics remember our beloved Patroness, the Virgin of Guadalupe. Such a special day indeed... so... what does this have to do with the site, you ask? Well, to celebrate this day my own way, I want to announce everybody that after a long wait YOU CAN FINALLY DOWNLOAD VOLUME 5, CHAPTER 5, courtesy of Astral Scanlations and Yours Truly! Woo-hoo! So what are you waiting for? Download it NOW and tell me what you think in the Guestbook or the Mailing List! You can now read the translation of the Novel's prologue HERE. Also, I finally updated the Humor section with the second part of the Interview with the CC cast, added a new Fanfiction "Lessons in Life" and 4 Fanarts by Maiden of the Moon. Oh, and for those who care, I also updated my fanfic Tears of Innocence with a new chapter... please review it! *pleading*I will start working on the Sounds page after this... oh my, such a lot of work... *faints*

December 05, 2004: Created a new section in Chronicles called Manga chapters with the outlines of every chapter of the manga. Oh, and those wanting to participate in the Fanfiction contest, what are you waiting for? Read the rules below! ^_^

Astral Contract is organizing the first great CHRNO CRUSADE FANFICTION CONTEST!! The first prize will be a 30 dollar gift certificate from Barnes and Noble, so you can buy any book or manga volumes you like (preferably CC ^_^). The rules are very simple:

-The grand prize for the winner will be a 30-dollar gift certificate from Barnes&Noble, as well as a translation into Spanish (done by me) and a basic profile of the winner (name, e-mail, favorite manga, anime, etc.) that will be posted on my site. There will also be awards for the second and third places.
- The story must be based on the Chrno Crusade MANGA (NOT the anime) or be an Alternate Universe.
- The story should be focused on Rosette and Chrno, but you're free to add as many characters from the manga as you like. ^_^
- The story should be rated PG-13 (that basically means no sexually graphic scenes, crude language, homosexual scenes, and the sort)
- The story can be a one-shot or a continuing series, and it can be any kind of genre: romance, action, adventure, comedy, drama, mystery, etc.
- You're free to submit as many fanfics as you like to the contest.
- The story should be written in Word format, in standard size and font (Times New Roman, size 12) and have a minimum length of 3 pages.  
- The story should be sent to me with the subject "Fanfiction Contest Submission" to my Gmail address: veronyca@gmail.com.

The deadline for submitting stories is on December 15. All stories will be posted on my site in the Fanfiction section. Don't hesitate in participating, you have nothing to lose!!

November 30, 2004: I'm working on a new (secret) project that I'm sure you'll love. I plan to have it ready in about 2 weeks, so drop by often!!! Also, I added lots of new Fanarts to the Images section. I also added some new stories to the Fanfiction section, for your reading enjoyment.

November 15, 2004: Finally, a new layout! Sorry it took me so long to update the page folks! Anyway, I created a new Mailing List for those people wanting to discuss everything Chrno-Crusade related, as well as meeting fellow fans. Please join! Added some new fanfics to the Fanfiction page, including my new Chrno Crusade fanfiction Tears of Innocence. I also made a few changes to the site here and there... you'll soon notice them. *exhausted* Will continue to add a more sections and information to the page during the week. In the meantime, don't forget to participate in the great FANFICTION CONTEST!!! ^_^ These are the details:

October 31, 2004: Dragon Age All Stars, the first finished chapter of the amazing Astral Scanlation team, is up to download. GO ON AND WORSHIP US!!! ^_^ You can find it in the Dragon Age All-Stars page, in the Chronicles section. The scans are not that great since that chapter was never published in a Volume format, but it's still a good read. I also created a new page, called ADV's "Chrono Crusade" with a brief overview of the official English version of the manga, and updated the Getting it page with new ISBN numbers and images of each of the volumes. Have a nice read, and don't forget to participate in the great

October 28: 2004: I uploaded some scans for volume 8 in the Manga scans section. This volume is so good that it was really difficult to choose some the best scenes, I like them all! ^_^ I also added the information for the Chrno Crusade novel and the Dragon Age Comic Anthology in Chronicles. Please take a look at it!

October 24, 2004: I finally finished uploading the images from Volume 1 to Volume 7. I will upload the images from Volume 8 in a few more days. YES!!!

October 19, 2004: Uploaded more manga scans to the PhotoAlbum section and a couple of fanfics to the Fanfiction page. Enjoy! ^_^

October 17, 2004: Believe it or not, I HAVE been working on the page!! ^_^ I've added the images of the Chrno Crusade novel, manga scans and sketches to the PhotoAlbum section, updated the Credits and Me pages and rewritten part of the Biographer page. I still have a lot of things to do, though, so I will be updating the page again during the course of the week. See ya'll soon!! *passes away from exhaustion*

October 13, 2004: Added more images to the Artwork section and a couple of Wallpapers made by Ames-chan, as well as the new Credits page. *yawns* Gah, I need more sleep...

October 12, 2004: Uploaded a few color illustrations in the Photo Album section, as well as a few hard-to-find treasures in the new Sketches page. A must see! ^_^

October 11, 2004: As you all know by now, Devil Inside, the best Chrno Crusade page in existence, has closed. I'm really sad for this, since this site was one of the reasons I became such an obsessed CC fan. Before Devil Inside existed, it was really hard to find any information about Chrno Crusade on the Internet, other than J-comx (now closed) the group that scanslated the first CC chapters. The good news about this is that Israfel, the webmistress, will continue to own the Astral Lines Forum and she kindly agreed to transfer most of the files she had on her site to me. She's a very cool person, and I think that every CC fan in the Internet world owns something to her. Thanks Israfel!!! ^_^ Uploading the files to my server, however, will take a bit of time, so I will be very busy this week and the next uploading all the images, pictures, songs, etc... so please be patient! In the meantime, take a look at the color illustrations in the Photo Album section. More images coming soon! *maniatic laugh* Oh, and before I forget, I rewrote Moriyama-sensei's profile in the Biographer section and also added a long chronicle of his first visit to the U.S. and a couple of pictures of him. Doesn't he look a bit like his doggy manga counterpart? Aww... *hugs Moriyama-sensei* ^_^

October 09, 2004: Added a new section for the Astral Lines Forum on the main page. If you haven't joined the forums yet, you don't know what you're missing! It's a very friendly community, and there's plenty of interesting topics to read and discuss. I also added some beautiful drawings in the Fanart section. Please take a look at them! ^_^ 

October 04, 2004: Okay, Volume 7 chapters 1-4 have been uploaded. Only a few chapters left for this volume! ^_^

October 02, 2004: Hi again! Today is the second month online of Astral Contract. I can't believe this site has become so popular in such a short amount of time. Webhost site stats: 25821 hits!  ^_^ Anyway, I've uploaded the entire Volume 6 (in Japanese) in the Translations & Scans section. This volume contains some of my favorite scenes of the manga, so be sure to check it out! Translations are available for the first couple of chapters, and I'm slowly working on the translation of the rest of them. I will upload Volume 7 during the course of the week. Enjoy!!! ^_^
